Julia’s Seaforest project (@_sea_forest ) began shortly after the Covid-19 pandemic started as a way to cope with homesickness, isolation and grief, while also seeking to feel more grounded in the natural beauty in her new home.

Through her time spent in nature, the collages she assembles with found materials, and the poems she selects to accompany them, she inadvertently stumbled upon a new love for visual art, and the healing powers of nature and connection.
