When the pressure is on and you’re called to immediate action, you don’t even break a sweat. We want someone like you in the role of Program Manager, Emergency Management.
Joining our Corporate Security and Business Continuity team, you’ll be responsible for providing support and advice in developing emergency management, preparedness and other program activities to ensure our Emergency Program meets business and regulatory compliance requirements.

Coordinate and facilitate emergency preparedness activities and maintain program compliance with emergency management principles.
Manage a comprehensive and fast-paced emergency exercise program. In year 1, you will:
Execute our Emergency Exercise Program in accordance with regulatory, business and public safety obligations.
Identify gaps or areas of opportunity in the overall emergency program and emergency response plans to continually develop our response readiness.
Learn about our Company (Gas, Electric, Generation, Operations, Major Projects) and look for opportunities to support.
Support the Emergency Operations Center in the event of an emergency or continuity event. In year 2, you will:
Seek opportunities for professional development to enhance our emergency programs and educate stakeholders through training and related working groups.
Continue to expand your knowledge and awareness of emergency management issues within the Province that align with emerging trends in the North American energy environment. What it takes:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, Emergency Management Certification, Exercise Design Certification, Business Continuity Professional Certification, plus four to seven years of recent experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience in designing and leading tabletop and full-scale exercises.
A demonstrated ability to resolve problems and identify opportunties for improvement.
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, and changing priorities within tight timeframes. Additional Information
